Make a “Prorace” Ninco with Sloting Plus Parts

First we make a list of parts we need for the project:

SLPL 1010 COMBI PLUS

SLPL 2252 AXLES

SLPL 16511 PINION

SLPL 8029 AW GEAR

SLPL 08150 MERUKO 15”

SLPL 08172 MERUKO 17”

The reason we have chosen Sloting Plus, is because most of the parts are made for Anglewinder Nincos. For example, the SLPL 1010 ( 31.0 mm.): For Ninco Mosler´s, Megane, Toyota Supra, Honda NSX and Lexus. SLPL 1011 ( 31.6 mm.): For Ninco Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ascari, Ford GT, Gallardo and Murciélago. The reason to use a Combi Plus Bushing is to reduce friction from mis-aligned bushings. If our rear axle bushings are slightly tilted to one side, friction increases. Combi Plus makes sure both ends are perfectly parallel. Recommended for use with Sloting Plus perfectly straight hardened steel axles only as slightly bent axles may reintroduce friction.

Install parts as shown. No stopper is needed in this set up. Use spacers, move your crown gear, pinion and rear rims to get a good mesh at the rear. Spacers added at the front prevent Meruko Rims from jamming with front axle mounts of chassis. Merukos have a very slim extension on the inner side of the rim which can get stuck. Alternatively you choose SLPL 4715 or SLPL 47170 America Rims with a fatter inner for the rims. Sloting Plus uses M2.5 scews for their components and all parts are in 3/32"
